Christmas Fun 2010 - Our Advent Tree

For the last few years the children's Grandma has been putting together an Advent Tree for them. (thanks Grandma) This design is one that is versatile, simple to put together and can be used over and over again.

It is simply a miniature tree, circles of read and green fabric, with a small trinket inside, wrapped with a ribbon and a number added and hung on the tree.

With 3 children fitting a trinket each inside of the little bags was simply becoming too cumbersome so unfortuantely the older two no longer participate in this advent experience (K was most upset) it is a small delight that C can enjoy on his own for the next years.

What Christmas Fun have you been getting up to lately? Don't forget to link up each week between now and Christmas and share all of your fun Christmas ideas. Crafts, Recipes, Handmade Gifts, Traditions and anything else you enjoy this time of year.
This weeks Christmas Fun Link Up can be found here.

Merry Christmas To All

This is a fun holiday tradition. Too bad that K is too old to play. We wrap our advent presents (mostly candy) in tissue paper and hang it on the tree, so it can be as big as needed :)
