Homeschool Blogs To Read

Well the new year is definitely under way and whilst we are still on school summer holiday break I am busy gathering supplies for and organising our year ahead.

For the second year in a row I have decided to team up with the Homeschool Review Crew once again, to bring you all some great products, that we use and review in our home.

I love reading homeschool related blogs, so much great stuff to glean from them. if only there were enough hours in the day to read each and every post that all of you wonderful homeschool mumma's take the time to create.

This year I thought I would share some of the blogs that are also part of the review crew this year. You're bound to find something here that interests you. There's such a wide variety of bloggers and the areas in which they focus on.

So go, grab a cuppa, or if you're in Australia, a cool icy drink and enjoy some time getting to know a few new to you homeschooling blogs.

Mulberry Magazine

I was so excited to see the release of Mulberry Magazine, a brand new digital homeschool magazine!

From your first glimpse you can see that a great deal of thought, planning and preparation has gone into the magazine.

The photography is stunning, the articles, informative, interesting and well written.

I love the inclusion of both an art idea section and the simple yummy recipes.

This is a long overdue addition to the Australian Homeschooling Community and I am so happy that Grace and her team have taken the plunge with this endeavour.

As always with any product to help ensure the success it requires the community to make the commitment to subscribe.

Visit Mulbery Magazine at their website.

I've already devoured the first issue and I can't wait for issue two to arrive in my inbox sometime in October.

Happy Homeschooling,
Kylie

"Hi, I'm Jo, and I am the voice behind the homeschooling blog Monsters Ed Homeschooling Academy.

I hail from Johannesburg, South Africa. I have been married to Steve for 4 years and am mom to Noo (11 years old, Grade 5), Koko (6 years old, Grade 1), Fifi (4,5 years old, Preschooler) and Pixie (2 years old, Totschooler).

We are currently starting our 6th year of homeschooling 3 out of the 4 kidlets, Noo started attending main stream schooling in January 2013.

We use Clonard Distance Education's curriculum and have since we started homeschooling back in 2009. I love that I am in the position where I am able to homeschool my children and be there for every milestone, both at home and in the school environment.

We are traditional homeschoolers who are inspired by Waldorf and Montessori styled lessons. We often go to the the bush on holiday, either the Kruger National Park or to my mother's farm, FM Safaris.

Our last family holiday was at the Kruger National Parks and we saw 4 of Africa's big 5 in one day. It was amazing!"

Oh wow imagine just a regular old family holiday where you are seeing all of those amazing creatures in one day!!! Jo's family truly are blessed to live in such a wonderful place.

Thanks Jo for taking the time to introduce your family to us.

Happy Homeschooling,
Kylie
